Your profile #

Tap your avatar in the top-right of the Home screen. From there you can:

Change your photo — take one, choose one, or remove it.
Edit your name — this is what other racers see.
See Your Standing — level, total XP, global rank, tier, XP by activity, lifetime distance and challenges won.
Open Performance and the Global Leaderboard.
Manage your account — language, Premium, legal, sign out and account deletion.

Profile photos are re-processed when you upload them, which strips the hidden EXIF data — including the GPS coordinates of where the photo was taken. That information is never published with your picture.

Notifications #

Open the bell icon on the Home screen for your inbox. It holds invitations and race updates, and you can mark everything read from there.

You'll be notified when:

someone invites you to a challenge, or accepts your invitation
a challenge you're in starts or finishes
you reach a milestone
another racer passes you
one of your sessions needs attention

DerbyOn never asks for notification permission on its own. If you want race updates you have to turn them on deliberately — the inbox shows your current status and a one-tap way to enable them or open your system settings.

Language #

Profile → Language. DerbyOn is available in 14 languages: English, Polski, Русский, O'zbek, Español, 简体中文, हिन्दी, العربية, Português, বাংলা, Français, Deutsch, 日本語 and 한국어.

Switching to or from Arabic changes the layout direction. Restart the app afterwards so everything flips properly.

DerbyOn Premium #

Premium is an optional subscription. We'd rather be straight with you about what it does and doesn't change, so here it is.

Your full Performance stats, streaks and personal records
XP, levels and tiers
Both the challenge leaderboard and the global leaderboard

What Premium adds

More challenges of your own — beyond the free limit of three that you host.
Private and fully custom challenges past that limit.
Tapping through to other racers' profiles from the leaderboard and the map.
A Premium badge next to your name on leaderboards.

It's offered monthly or yearly, the yearly plan is cheaper per month, and you can cancel any time. Prices are shown in the app in your own currency — they vary by region, so we don't list them here.

Changed phones or reinstalled? Use Restore Purchases on the Premium screen. Billing and cancellation are handled by Apple or Google, not by us, so cancel through the App Store or Google Play subscription settings.

Who can see what #

Short version: other people see your name, your picture and your numbers. Nobody sees where you actually went.

Visible to other DerbyOn users

Your display name and profile photo
Your XP, level, tier and global rank
In a challenge you're both in: your distance, progress and whether you finished
While a challenge is running: your live position on the map, to the other people in that challenge

Never visible to anyone else

Your recorded routes and GPS history — being in a challenge with someone does not give them access to where you've been
Your territory heatmap
Your session list and session details
Your email address

Joining a challenge means sharing your live position with that challenge's participants while it's running, and there is no per-user switch to turn that off. If you'd rather not share a location at all, record solo — solo sessions broadcast nothing.

What we collect #

The honest summary; the full privacy policy has the detail.

Your account — name, email, and how you signed in.
Your location while recording, including in the background, because that's the product.
Your activity — distance, duration, routes, progress and achievements.
Challenge and social data — who you raced, invitations, leaderboard positions.
Subscription status, if you buy Premium. Apple and Google handle the payment details; we never see your card.
Diagnostics — crash reports and coarse usage data to find bugs.

We do not sell your data, we don't run third-party advertising, and we don't track you across other apps and websites. Our analytics deliberately exclude your name, email, invite codes, and your GPS coordinates and routes.

DerbyOn asks for no health data at all — no HealthKit, no Google Fit, no step counter and no heart rate.

Deleting your account #

Profile → Delete Account. It asks you to confirm, and then it's permanent — there's no undo and no grace period.

Deleting your account removes:

your account and profile, including your photo
your recorded sessions and their GPS history
your challenge participation and progress
your XP, level and stats
your invitations and push notification tokens

Challenges you created stay in existence for the other racers in them, so nobody else's race is destroyed when you leave. Your own participation and data are removed.

There's no self-service data export yet. If you need a copy of your data, or want anything corrected, email muhshuh2000@gmail.com and we'll sort it out.

You can also just sign out — Profile → Sign Out — which leaves everything intact.
